An interesting association, as Boston’s famous Parker House was established in 1855 and became the home of the ‘Saturday Club,’ an informal monthly gathering of intellectuals that counted Longfellow, Charles Dickens, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Oliver Wendell Holmes among its members.
