Original printed National Union ticket from Lincoln’s 1864 presidential campaign, 3 x 8.25, featuring an eagle vignette at the top and naming Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson as running for president and vice president. The ticket was issued for California’s second district and also lists the names of the district’s five electors as well as its congressman. The reverse features a detailed ornamental vignette with a patriotic theme and portraits of Lincoln and Andrew Jackson, who was the last president to have been elected to a second term.
