Official Spalding National League (Giles) baseball signed in blue ballpoint on the sweet spot and side panels by 28 members of the 1968 Cardinals team, including: Roger Maris, Bob Gibson (ss), Red Schoendienst (ss), Orlando Cepeda (ss), Lou Brock, Steve Carlton, Curt Flood, Dick Sisler, Nelson Briles, Dick Hughes, Bob Milliken, Larry Jaster, Ed Spiezio, Phil Gagliano, Dal Maxvill, Jack Lamabe, Hal Woodeshick, Alex Johnson, Jim Cosman, and nine others. Some scattered marks and scuffs, and nearly all signatures significantly faded, many to the point of essential indistinguishability (Maris, Brock, and Cepeda remain entirely legible; Lamabe and Briles are bold), otherwise very good condition; nevertheless, a ball from one of the most successful Cardinals teams ever assembled, with a number of highly sought after autographs.
