Scarce color 22 x 15 ‘presentation copy’ lithograph broadside bearing Ford’s August 9, 1974, Oath of Office and remarks to the American public, as well as a color image of Ford, signed in blue felt tip, “Gerald R. Ford.” Broadside is removably encapsulated in acid-free Mylar. In very fine condition. At 12:03 p.m. on August 9, 1974, just a half hour after President Nixon’s resignation was made official, Ford took the oath of office in the East Room of the White House, becoming the first president to ever assume the position without being elected.
