Black-bodied Gibson Explorer electric guitar, serial number 82625552, with a Bigsby tail piece installed by the Gibson custom shop. Serial number dates the manufacture date to September 19, 1985. In very good condition, with scattered paint loss to edges of body, back of the neck, and head, as well as surface marks to the body, all from expected heavy use. Accompanied by an original Gibson Factory Explorer case with purple velvet lining. A well-used instrument, which was a favorite of hard rock and heavy metal musicians. RR Auction COA.
