Accompanied by a letter from Voltage Guitars of Hollywood, endorsing “this piece’s pristine condition and originality.” In 1954, Gretsch struck a deal with Chet Atkins to endorse their guitars and introduced the 6120 the following year. It It was quickly adopted by rockabilly artists like Eddie Cochran, Duane Eddy, and Brian Setzer.
