In full: “Thank you for the perfectly delightful china birds which you gave me for my birthday. Andrew ‘helped’ me to open the parcel and was enchanted by them! I hope you are keeping well in spite of this dreadful weather.” In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Elizabeth’s own hand.
