Description

ALS in pencil signed “Bert,” 12 pages on three sets of adjoining sheets, 5.25 x 6.5, Ritz-Carlton Hotel letterhead, postmarked April 29, 1934. Letter to Frances Upton, his future wife. In part: “It is eight o’clock daylight saving time. Gee sweetheart just think if everything goes all right and it meets with your plans that time next week you will be in my arms and I will be the happiest person in the wide world Darling you have been so wonderful to me & I love you so I can hardly wait for the millions & millions of kisses hugs caresses and all the pretty things I have to tell my darling girl oh boy do I love you.” In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Bell’s hand. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
