Description

Mick corrects the lyrics to their politically-charged ‘Undercover of the Night’

Annotated lyrics for the Rolling Stones’s song ‘Undercover of the Night,’ two pages, 8.5 x 11. Apparently the lyrics were printed out for Jagger’s approval, with the singer crossing out several passages, adding corrections, including, “tongue cut in two,” “Race militia,” and “they have got the blues.” In fine condition, with a staple and hole to top left corner and expected mild handling wear. This song was the first single released from the band’s 1983 album Undercover, and most notably, one of the very few Stones’ songs that explored politics. Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RR Auction COA.
