Hand-addressed and free franked mailing envelope, 5.5 x 3, addressed by Alexander to his wife, “Mrs. E. P. Alexander, Care of Dr. Augustine Mason, Fredericksburg, Va,” and franked in the upper right, “E. P. Alexander, Capt. Engrs, C. S.
