TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, Welcome House letterhead, March 11, 1955. Letter searching for potential adoptive parents of two boys. In part: “Jimmy and Paul are two little boys from Chicago. They are brothers, only two and three years old when Welcome House found them. They were alone in the world, shifted from one foster home to another, until they had been in five such places…We here at Welcome House believe that Jimmy and Paul are valuable Americans because they are partly Asian…Is there an adoptive family who wants these little Americans.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds, small spot to bottom right, and a small brush to first stroke of signature. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. RR Auction COA.
