An Ampex Golden Reel award presented to “Richard Mullen for: Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble—In Step,” consisting of the CD affixed to a gold reel, presented on a plastic 13.5 x 17 plaque with an engraved plate describing the award: “A reel of recording tape is unfulfilled until an artist makes it priceless by performing. This Golden Reel is a symbol of one such priceless performance, recorded on Ampex professional studio mastering tape, that has joined the ranks of the world’s greatest hits.” Reverse bears an affixed California Gold Record Co. label. In fine condition, with a few marks and scratches to the CD’s jewel case. Released in 1989, In Step was Vaughan’s final album with Double Trouble. RR Auction COA.
