Screen-worn racing coat worn by Red Skelton in the role of Joe Belden in the 1951 film Excuse My Dust, directed by Buster Keaton. Long off-white jacket features a single row of buttons and an MGM costume tag sewn in below the collar, with “Red Skelton” written on the name line, and number “1515-7772,” written on the second line. In fine condition, with a bit of scattered light soiling. Accompanied by three color screen grabs of Skelton in the coat in the film; a glossy 8 x 10 publicity photo from the film; and a two-page German promotional flyer for the film, with several images of Skelton in the coat.
