Five items: TLS by Eleanor Roosevelt, one page, personal letterhead, July 1, 1957, offering good wishes; ALS by Alice Stone Blackwell, one page, The Woman’s Journal letterhead, October 7, 1916, in part: “My mother had no ‘B’ in her name, and I think that the autograph in your collection must be that of some other Lucy Stone”; TLS by William Lloyd Garrison, one page, American Free Trade League letterhead, May 26, 1904, regarding the publication of a speech; ink signature and inscription of Fanny G. Villard on her personal calling card; and the title page of Across the Death-Line by Toyohiko Kagawa, signed and inscribed in black ink. Paper loss and soiling to the Kagawa page, otherwise overall fine condition. RR Auction COA.
