Three bars from his Second Chamber Symphony presented to a military officer

Austrian-born composer (1874–1951) whose development of the ‘twelve-tone’ system proved to be one of the most far-reaching innovations in the history of 20th century music. AMQS on an off-white 3.5 x 2 card, Schoenberg pens three bars from his Second Chamber Symphony, signed and inscribed, “From Second Chamber Symphony To Lieutenant Commander (S) A. R. Davis Cordially Arnold Schoenberg February 1946." In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
