Handwritten cover sheet for a report entitled “How people may live and not die in India,” one page, 6 x 6.75, London, October 1863, signed below the title, “Florence Nightingale.” Nightingale transmits her report to “The Social Science Association,” enclosing “No. I Circular Diagram,” “II. Linear [Diagram],” and “III. Wood-cut.” Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 17.5 x 12.5. In fine condition, with intersecting folds. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
