Color satin-finish 10 x 8 photo of the Enola Gay on the runway, signed in blue felt tip, “The first atomic bomb was dropped from 30,600 feet. It detonated 43 seconds later, 1800 feet above Hiroshima. The city was devastated, but millions of lives were saved, both Japanese and Allied. The war soon ended and the killing stopped. Major ‘Dutch’ Van Kirk, Navigator—Enola Gay, Hiroshima—6 Aug. 1945.” In very fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
