Gus Grissom

Astronaut (1926–1967) who perished in a flash fire during a test of the Apollo 1 command module that also claimed the lives of Roger Chaffee and Ed White. Color 8 x 10 NASA photo of Grissom in a jacket and tie, a Mercury 7 pin on his lapel, signed in black ink, “Virgil I. Grissom.” In fine condition. Pre-certified Steve Zarelli and RR Auction COA.
