Coolidge appoints Drew Linard “a Consul of Class seven of the United States of America, I do assign him as Consul of the United States of America at Piedras, Negras, Mexico, for Piedras Negras.” Signed at the conclusion by Coolidge and countersigned by Secretary of State Charles Evans Hughes. In fine condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, a bit of trivial toning, and a slight brush to Hughes’s signature.
