Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 23 x 19, March 30, 1923. President Harding appoints Drew Linard, “a Consul of Class seven of the United States of America, I do assign him as Consul of the United States of America at Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada.” Signed at the conclusion by Harding and countersigned by Secretary of State Charles Evans Hughes. Intersecting folds and some light edge toning, otherwise fine condition. The white wafer seal is crisp and intact with a central horizontal fold. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
