Two items: brief AMQS on an off-white 8.5 x 11 sheet, signed and inscribed in black ink, “Best wishes to Charles Irion, George Crumb, July, 1997.” Crumb identifies it at the top, “From Makrokosmos, Vol. II (for amplified piano), ‘The Mystic Chord’”; and an ALS, one page, 5.5 x 8.5, University of Pennsylvania letterhead, mentioning some of his recent works.
