Pioneer of quantum physics (1900–1958) who received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1945 after being nominated by Albert Einstein. Very rare vintage matte-finish 2 x 3 bust portrait of Pauli in formal attire, signed at the bottom in fountain pen. In fine condition, with slight irregular adhesion to last name in signature. Pauli is widely considered among the ten most important physicists of the 20th Century and his autograph in all forms is very rare (perhaps due to his relatively early death).
