Vintage program cover from the United Nations Corner-Stone Ceremony, held in New York on October 24, 1949, 8 x 10.5, signed at the top in blue ink, “C. W. Nimitz.” Double-matted and framed with a Life magazine cover, two other images of Nimitz, a Navy medallion and five-star cluster to an overall size of 30.25 x 18.25.
