Five items consisting of letters and documents, each signed by a German Royal: two TLSs by Ernst August, Duke of Brunswick and Lunenberg, dated 1947 and 1948; an ALS by Ernst I, Duke of Saxe-Altenburg, four pages on two adjoining sheets, dated 1902; a DS by Ernst II, Duke of Saxe-Altenburg, dated 1909, awarding the Saxon Merit Medal for Art and Science; and a DS by Ernst Ludwig, Grand Duke of Hesse and Rhein, dated 1897, appointing a military officer.
