Minnelli’s screen-worn dress from Season 3, Episode 5 of the This Is Tom Jones television variety show. Light aqua polyester dress features a thin collar attached to a gold hoop in the front with a zip-up back, and a Western Costume Co. label sewn inside the seam near the zipper with Minnelli’s name written on it in an unknown hand. Accompanied by an original 7 x 9 ABC promotional photo of Minnelli in the dress for the program, with a caption affixed to the reverse, and a clipped TV Guide newspaper advertisement for the program featuring the same image. In very good condition, with some dampstaining and soiling to front of dress. On the show, Minnelli performed ‘Come Rain or Come Shine’ in this dress. RR Auction COA.
