Davis’s personally-owned and -worn suit, worn on a 1980 episode of The Mike Douglas Show and also worn while receiving the Medal of the City of Paris. Dark blue single-breasted jacket features white stripes and bears a Certo, Beverly Hills maker’s label to inside pocket. Matching pants bear a second Certo label, with “S. Davis,” written on the first line, and dated “5/79.” In fine condition. Accompanied by three glossy 10 x 8 Mike Douglas Show publicity photos, all three showing Davis in the suit, and a fourth photo of Davis receiving the Medal of the City of Paris from then-mayor and future French President Jacques Chirac, circa 1980, which shows exquisite detail of the suit up-close.
