Italian politician (1860–1952) who served as Prime Minister from 1917–1919. Vintage ink signature, “V. L. Orlando, London, 3 Oct. ’18,” on an off-white 4 x 3 album page. Some scattered light toning and spotting, otherwise fine condition. From the date of the signature, it is likely Orlando was preparing to attend the Paris Peace Conference, which began in January, 1919. Possibly the most difficult of the World War I ‘Big Four’ leaders to obtain. RR Auction COA.
