Collection of five items related to the Grand Army of the Republic: two circa 1870s metal pins, each approximately 1″ in diameter, bearing affixed portraits of Union veterans wearing kepis; an original oval 3.25 x 4.75 photo of a veteran wearing a medal, affixed to its original 6 x 9 photographer’s mount; an original 1894 ribbon featuring a soldier in a Zouave uniform, 2.75 x 5.75, honoring the 32nd anniversary of the 146th New York Volunteers; and a metal canteen fob, approximately 1.25″ in diameter, honoring an 1896 GAR annual state encampment. In overall very good condition, with heavy surface cracks and emulsion loss to pin photos, fraying and soiling to the ribbon, and scattered corrosion to canteen fob. RR Auction COA.
