Color-tinted engraved broadside entitled “Massachusetts Soldier’s Memorial,” published in September 1864 to honor Company K of the 24th Regiment of Massachusetts Volunteers, 18.25 x 22.5, featuring lists of soldiers and officers in the regiment, as well as a timeline of their movements from between February 8, 1862, and August 21, 1864. At the top and around the borders are gorgeous vignettes, including images of soldiers, encampments, and artillery, and the bottom features a large, dramatic image of a battle scene. In fair to good condition, with numerous large and noticeable tears repaired with tape to reverse (including complete tears passing through the lower third), some ink touchups to lettering at the top, scattered dampstaining, and an area of paper loss to the upper left edge.
