Three items: two ALSs, signed “George du Maurier,” one single page and one multi-page, one dated January 15, 1895, the other dated September 10. The September letter regards a London stage production of his novel Trilby, mentioning the dramatist Paul Potter and actor Herbert Beerbohm Tree in the role of Svengali. That letter is affixed by its second integral page to a slightly larger sheet; and a one-page TLS from Daphne du Maurier forwarding some letters and mementos. Accompanied by a program from the Theatre Royal in Haymarket for a production of Trilby; an engraved portrait of du Maurier, bearing a printed signature; and glossy 10 x 8 publicity photo of Daphne du Maurier outside her home.
