Vintage matte-finish 13.5 x 10.5 photo of Lyon flying a plane, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To ‘Bennie’—Thanks for putting your life in my hands—Best always, Ben,” and dated 1937. Blindstamped in the lower right by the photographer, Elmer Fryer. In very good condition, with noticeable creasing (primarily to right border), paper loss to the left edge and lower corner, and a few edge dings and tears; signature and inscription are extremely crisp and bold, and presents well overall.
