Max Skladanowsky

German inventor and early filmmaker (1863–1939) who, with his brother, invented the Bioskop projector, which they used on on November 1, 1895 to display the first moving picture show to a paying audience. Vintage 3.5 x 5.5 postcard photo of Skladanowsky, signed in the lower border with a German sentiment in black ink. Upper border also bears a pencil notation of the date March 28, 1935. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
