So far as I know, no writer has ever published a list of this kind…Recently you mentioned the publication in French only, of my book ‘Plexus.’ A bit premature, no? The first book referred to, The Books in My Life, was published in 1952, and Plexus was first published in 1952 by Olympia Press in Paris, as it was banned in the United States on the grounds of obscenity until 1965.
