Kennedy’s personally-owned and -worn coat. Blue mohair winter coat features two rows of five large buttons, only one still attached, with a Lord and Taylor manufacturer’s label sewn inside the collar. Jacket was sold to Mary Gallagher during the 1960 presidential campaign when Gallagher had no time to shop for a coat. Discoloration to jacket from buttons, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by a copy of a certificate of authenticity from Mary Gallagher, Kennedy’s personal secretary. Provenance: Robert L. White Collection, Guernsey’s, 2005. RR Auction COA.
