Two items: TLS, one page, 8 x 10.25, FBI letterhead, March 29, 1949. Short letter to a collector reads, in part: “Special Agent H. LeRoss Browne has advised me that you collect autographs…and that you would like to have one of my pictures which I have signed. It is a pleasure to enclose a copy of my autographed photograph”; and a matte-finish 4 x 6 photo, signed in the lower border in blue ink. In fine condition, with a paperclip impression to edge of photo, and a few rusty paperclip marks to edges of letter. RR Auction COA.
