John Adam Kasson

Delegate to the 1860 Republican National Convention where Abraham Lincoln received the presidential nomination (1822–1910). He later served as a congressman from Iowa. Original 2.25 x 4 carte-de-visite portrait of Kasson writing with a feathered quill, signed on the reverse in black ink, “John A. Kasson, M. C. Iowa.” Published by Maull & Co. of London. In fine condition. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
