In part: “Your letter of August 3d was more than generous and I am your debtor for the information which you were good enough to send. The support of such men as you is very gratifying to me, and I want to give myself the pleasure of telling you how much I appreciate it.” In fine condition, with central vertical and horizontal folds (the vertical fold passing through the first letter of the signature).
