#240, cal. .41 rimfire. This is a Type II pistol with the one line barrel address “Remington Arms Co. Ilion, N. Y.” The hinge is good. 3″ barrels with very good bores. The barrels show fine scratches from an old abrasive cleaning; most of the metal is a steel gray with the barrel address in fine condition. The checkered hard rubber grips have been worn nearly smooth, but look very attractive. This has matching numbers, and the mechanism works well.
