Pristine signature from 5 o’clock tea

Irish writer (1854–1900) and leader of the Aesthetic Movement, known for such works as The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Importance of Being Earnest, and The Happy Prince. Ink signature, “Oscar Wilde, 9 Charles St., Grosvenor Square, London, 5 o’c Tea,” on an off-white sheet. Attractively and suitably double-suede-matted and framed with a full-length portrait of Wilde to an overall size of 15.5 x 22. In fine, clean condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
