Description

“Somewhere over the Rain”

Lyricist (1896–1981) who wrote the lyrics to the standards, ‘Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?,’ ‘April in Paris,’ and ‘It's Only a Paper Moon’ as well as all of the songs in The Wizard of Oz. AQS on an off-white 3 x 5 musically-lined sheet. Harburg pens a truncated line from Dorothy’s famous song, in full: “Somewhere over the Rain.” Signed at the conclusion in blue felt tip, “E. Y. Harburg.” In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
