Vanderbilt (1904-1965) was a socialite and wife of Reginald Claypoole Vanderbilt, heir to his family’s fortune. She is best known as the mother of fashion designer and artist Gloria Vanderbilt. Furness (1904–1970) was her twin sister and the mistress of King Edward VIII—she introduced Edward to his future wife, Wallis Simpson. Signed book: Double Exposure. Second printing.
