Belgian actor, screenwriter, and director (1885–1948) associated with the style of poetic realism in French cinema. ALS in French, four pages on two adjoining sheets, 6.25 x 8, December 9, 1934. Letter to fellow Belgian screenwriter Charles Spaak. Untranslated letter regarding a stage adaptation of the 1935 film Pension Mimosas, which they co-wrote. Feyder, who planned to adapt it himself, was upset to learn that another writer had already done so without Spaak informing him of a third collaborator. In fine condition, with intersecting folds (one horizontal fold passing through top of signature), and mounting remnants to the left border of the last page. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
