Desirable mounted platinum print photograph of Lincoln, 7.75 x 9.5, printed by George B. Ayres circa 1890 from the original negative taken by Alexander Hesler shot in Springfield, Illinois, in 1860. Affixed to a slightly larger mount, with a copyright credit on the reverse, “Copyright, Geo. B. Ayres, Phila,” and a “G. E. Ayres, Copyright 1881,” photographer’s stamp to lower left corner.
