Carter writes to the Osbournes, in part: “I’ve just returned from a long book tour & visit to Sudan & found your wonderful birthday gift. Thank you all for being so thoughtful and generous.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope; and a brief TLS, one page, 6.25 x 8.75, dated October 5, 2007, sending thanks for a sent gift.
