Gold-plated medal measures approximately 3″ in diameter with a raised relief of an Oscar statue on one side, with the opposite side bearing an engraved presentation which reads, “To Army Archerd in appreciation for outstanding service and dedication in upholding the high standards of the Academy of Motion Picture and Arts and Sciences.” Medal is housed in its original wooden box.
