In part: “The young man…show[ed] me samples of the photographs resulting from the sitting of the 7th…I will be obliged if you will bring along say four dozen of the largest size shown me, cut oval, so as to exclude the left hand, & lower part of the body, and with space whence to put my signature.” Scattered toning to mailing folds, otherwise fine condition.
