Enormous vintage 19.75 x 16 image of Marciano landing a thunderous punch to the face of Jersey Joe Walcott in their 1952 championship bout, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, “To my Pal Dud, Rocky Marciano.” Seemingly affixed to a heavier backing, and matted and framed to an overall size of 25.5 x 21.5. Scattered surface creases and bubbling, and show-through from adhesive to reverse, otherwise very good condition. In winning this fight against Walcott on September 23, 1952, Marciano secured the title of World Heavyweight Champion—one which he would hold for the rest of his undefeated career.
