Famous for his blues harmonica playing, he was the first and only musician to ever be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for harmonica (1930–1968). While taking a break during a performance in the South Side of Chicago, he was involved in a fight and would eventually succumb to his injuries the next day, he was 37.
