In part: “I find since I came back that every evening has been planned out for me, and only my mornings are free…your country is a very busy one & it leaves its visitors no time for reverie.” Mumford has written a draft response on the reverse in pencil, signed “Lewis Mumford,” in part: “Letter forwarded alas too late for return.
