Full-length 7.25 x 9.5 printed photo of Rodin in his garden, his hat in his hand. An interesting pencil notation in an unknown hand on the reverse reads, “Rodin in his garden again at his villa at Mardon. He went to Italy at the outbreak of the war & pursued his work there but as the war continued & he became accustomed to the horror of it he returned to his home near Paris. The war has had a marked effect upon him personally & upon his work. It has saddened him.” In fine condition, with creasing to corner tips and paper loss along right edge. RR Auction COA.
